The Employer’s aim with the construction of this facility was for the processing and compaction of waste into sealed containers. The project entailed the construction of a refuse transfer station building with a waste handling capacity of 100 metric tons per hour, an administration building, a hazardous waste building as well as workshops. The project also entailed the construction of external works which included a drop off facility, weighbridges, service buildings and external roads.
