This project entailed the construction of a new state of the art shooting range for the South African Police Service thereby providing for a facility to undertake the training of police officers in firearm handling as well as a facility for the undertaking of legislative shooting practice.
The works included the construction of bulk earthworks, the installation of 100,000 metres of treated gum poles, the construction of a reinforced concrete tactical building covered by 200mm of rubber, the construction of a new administration building complete with change rooms, lecture rooms and offices.
