The project involved the Civil, Mechanical and Electrical upgrade to the existing waste water treatment works.
- The electrical works consisted primarily of the manufacture and installation of a five-unit 11 kV switch panel and two 1 250 kVA transformers in the new QWWTW substation building, and a 500 kVA miniature substation located in the vicinity of the QWWTW sludge dewatering building.
- The civil works comprised of new access roads, a substation building, water reticulation network and demolition and repairs to existing aerator basins.
- The Mechanical work comprised the Design, Installation and Commissioning of fine bubble aeration, blowers, dewatering equipment, mechanical screens and odour control.
