Resurfacing of 420 000 m2 of dual carriageway with a 25mm Ultra-Thin Friction Course. The existing wearing course was removed by fine milling to a depth of 30mm. An additional 7300 tons of BTB and wearing course was paved in heavily distressed areas. The contract was undertaken outside normal working hours to limit disruption to traffic flowing into and out of the City of Cape Town.
